  • What are your rates?
    $110 / hour Expenses: Cost + 15% (hotel, meals, fuel, oil, TKS fluid, oxygen, etc.) Sales tax if applicable Rates subject to change Minimum 4-hours Minimum not applicable to video conferences, research, and other items completed remotely Hourly rate includes flight, ground, pre/post flight briefings, research (such as logbooks) and round-trip travel time from KVUO. Please note Portland traffic can be quite heavy causing longer than normal drive times; in some cases, it may be more cost and time effective for the client to pay for a motel. No travel time charged for training at KVUO, KKLS, or KPDX. See terms & conditions for duty time limitations.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will not incur a fee. Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice or not able to fly after arriving at the airport will be charged at normal rates. This may include an aircraft that does not meet FAA airworthiness requirements, a customer who is not prepared, weather, or other reasons. An exception can be made once. The fee starts at the scheduled time, even if you arrive late to your scheduled appointment.
  • Where do you provide training?
    Generally in the greater Portland Oregon metropolitan area. However, special arrangements can be made for other locations, including longer cross-country trips.
  • Where do you provide ferry service?
    North America
  • Do you have any scheduling limitations?
    The schedule will be determined once the Client Request for Services is completed, terms & conditions are accepted, and insurance is handled. We generally do not scheduled on Sundays; thank you for understanding.
  • Do you accept all students and ferry requests?
    No. Acceptance is subject to student willingness to study, a culture of safety, and the condition of the airplane. Also, there are times when service requests exceed capacity.

  • Tell me about Embark? Will Cirrus provide me free training?
    If you have purchased a Cirrus, used or new, Cirrus will pay a CSIP to provide training at no cost to you for up to three days. Usually Cirrus will select a CSIP who is provides training in the area you are at. There are some limitations.
